As always,this was a super meeting with lots of fast,close racing.Always very hard fought.On a super track.Jason Handley the 350cc multi British Champion going for yet another title.But with ex British 250cc Champion Richard Smith out in the 350cc class,he would not find it easy.Add Paul Cooper,Jamie Rodgers,Dave Mears and Bob Dolman into the class,it was going to be a tough day.
In the 250cc class Lee Street was looking to defend the title he so richly deserved in 2005.Having been in really good form all season,he would have to fight off the challenge from local rider and former champion David Knowles.But the man to look out for will be Neil Taylor on his new RTS/KTM fourstroke.
The 500cc Sidecars had been dominated by the two crews of Harvey/Hogg and Radley/Mathison all year.But with 6 times British Champion Lester Goodwin out to make it number 7 could Harvey make it 3? A cracking final was the result.
With the Left Hand Sidecars being a fight between the Welsh crews and the South Eastern crews,there was some real fireworks going on.
