Yet another fantastic international line-up of riders for this years International Bonfire Burn-up, at the superb Collier Street boarded circuit. The weather had threatened the running of the meeting, but it went ahead as planned. And what a meeting it turned out to be. With top International Solos and Sidecars putting on a great display of racing. Could anyone stop the top Australian Sidecar crew man Darren Treloar. Looking invincible.But with the top British crews of Wilson & Miles/Halsey & Glenie/Matthews & Miles he would not get things his own way.
In the 500cc Sidecars the brilliant German Josef Onderka would really want some stopping. Up against him from the UK was Mal Goodwin, Laster Goodwin,Raz Palmer, and Clive Willis. Also from Germany Marcus Brandhofer and Karl Keil.
The line-up for the 500cc Solos could not get much better,with Tatum,Screen,Diener,Read,Groen,Pijper,Kroger,Hall,Doncaster,and Howe.
