Speeds of up to 100mph were seen on this 800 metre plus Poacher track this year. It was frighteningly fast. Internatinional Solos included the multi world champion Robert Barth. Up against some of the best riders in Britain. Including Paul Hurry, Glen Phillips, and Andrew Appleton. But could they get anywhere near the very quick German. There were a few surprises ahead for Barth as he tried to lay his claim for the Poacher title. With most of the UK's leading sidecar crews there as well. The meeting promised to deliver a lot, and no-one was disappointed. The 1,000cc Right Hand Sidecar final was the best race of the day, with a very close and dramatic finish. To see these machines race so close at speeds up to 100mph was thrilling stuff indeed. Classes: 500cc Solos/1,000cc Right Hand Sidecars
Running Time: 157 minutes Race Location: Skegness, Lincolnshire. Number of Races: 33
